Grow Your Side Hustle into a Successful Business – Courtesy of Quid Corner

The following post on growing your side hustle into a successful business was recently released on Quid Corner. Personally, I found it to be of interest and thought it might be of value to you as well.

The post sets out 10 steps to go from a side-hustle into a full-time occupation. I particularly liked the idea of reaching out to mentors to support you on your journey and working with complimentary businesses to maximize your reach. The Pro Tip on using LinkedIn to reach out to mentors is a great suggestion and one I will be looking to utilize.

The post does go on to stress the importance of taking small, considered steps towards achieving your objectives as in reality, it’s not sprint but a marathon. Also, as Quid Corner is an English website, some of the terminology and references do cater to a more local audience. That being said the value of the content remains. Let me know what you think. This chart is presented purely for infotainment.

A Roadmap to Benjamins.

For purposes of this exercise, net worth has been classed as the assets that a person has remaining (such as savings, stocks, mutual funds, bonds, real estate, vehicles, retirement accounts) after subtracting all liabilities (including student loans, mortgages, credit cards and other forms of debt). How to Read a Book a Day – Jay Shetty Shares His Secrets

I recently discovered Jay Shetty and came across the following YouTube clip of his called “How I Read a Book a Day” which I thought to share.

Jay Shetty
Look at this guy. Seriously!

For those who are unaware of his work, Jay Shetty is an extremely photogenic storyteller, video marketer and presenter who spent his early 20s as a monk in India. Jay has more than one million followers globally and his viral videos have racked up over 200 million views.

In the following clip, Jay discusses some hacks he uses to quickly extract the most value out of each book he sets out to read. He focuses on cherry-picking key areas out of a book which are of particular relevance to you rather than automatically reading cover to cover. Like me, this may be a little bit of a foreign concept for those of you who have always consumed books in their entirety. The following clip outlines how Jay does this: Continue reading “How to Read a Book a Day – Jay Shetty Shares His Secrets”
